Ian Brown, the North-West’s most influential musician (some say) and frontman of the legendary Stone Roses makes a returns to his own backyard this summer. The event date is June 11th at the Platt Fields Park, Fallowfield in South Manchester and tickets are reasonably priced at £25 for strictly limited Early Birds or £28.50 for standard ones.
Especially reasonable when you consider that he is ably supported by the top acts Manchester has to offer….Brown collaborationistas Unkle…Bad Lieutenant…ex-New Order musician, Peter Hook, will also be Djing…Scratch Perverts, Mike Pickering of Hacienda fame…Mr Scruff…Now Wave DJs and Justin Robertson.
Sounds like Summer 2010 is kicking off nicely in Manchester.
